Change my Microsoft 365 recovery email address

Change the email address that can receive a password reset. If you're setting up Microsoft 365 for the first time, add a recovery email address instead.

1. Sign in to your Email & Office Dashboard.
2. If you're an account owner, select Manage next to the email address. Otherwise, continue to the next step.
3. In the Account information section, select Edit. (You might need to scroll to the bottom of the page.)
4. Enter your Recovery email, and then select Save.

You'll see confirmation that your recovery email was updated.
